The Teufelsbadstubensteig itself is not only one of the most scenic easy Rax-climbing routes (B), it also has a high "adventure value" due to its great exposure and the interesting route through ladders and through a cave. In the upper part, he is no longer insured, but also hardly exposed.

The Teufelsbadstubensteig is a 250-meter-long via ferrata of category B. The last few meters are only partially or completely uninsured, lead through scree furrows and include climbing points of difficulty I.
A beautiful and exciting via ferrata with a constant view over the Höllental. However, you should always be aware of falling stones and boulders!

The Teufelsbadstubensteig is one of the popular climbing routes in the Höllental.
The ascent is from Höllentalstraße. Parking is the parking Wachthüttelkamm directly in front of the tunnel. Follow the signs towards Schönbrunnerstiege, then on Forstweg to the entrance.
The via ferrata itself impresses with wonderful views into the small Höllental. With A / B category he belongs to the lighter class. In the upper part there are some steep passages, but they are easy to walk.
The descent can be done via the Wachthüttelkammsteig. At the end of the via ferrata you turn left to follow the lower path with blue markings.
