At the junction hikers can look down upon Echo Lake Beach, and east to Acadia and Saint Sauveur Mountains. The Canada Cliffs Trail is a moderate, mostly forested loop, while the Beech Cliffs trail is a strenuous steep climb from Echo Lake Beach.

I'm not sure how it's got it's name but maybe you can see Canada from here. You can certainly see some lovely views of Echo Pond, Acadia Mountain, and the Cranberry Isles in the distance
