This is a tea room I have visited around five times, whenever I'm in Borrowdale! The BEST cheesy crumpets, hot and cold drinks and hearty stews/soups.Filled my water bottles up with tap water on a 2-week hike. Wonderful views from the garden next to the tea room. Simply wonderful service and quality of food.

Lovely cafe and a bit of a 'mini' shop to boot. Nice friendly staff, a lovely outside seated area with valley views and a small but cosy inside seating place.
