The Heidenhäuschen - a ridge and a nature reserve at the same time - is located north of Limburg, near Hadamar-Oberzeuzheim. The name is probably derived from the former court. The area around the Heidenhäuschen (398 m above sea level) with remains of a Celtic ring wall and surrounding basalt blocks is of prehistoric importance; this is evidenced by archaeological finds.
