This fire tower is located near the fussilade place west of the Rovertsche Leij. It is a beautiful historical area. Along the Belgian / Dutch border there are also various cast iron and bluestone border posts from 1843 that you can encounter on this route.

YACHTHOUSE annex FIRE TOWER from around 1920 and 1946-1947 respectively, built by the Goirlese textile manufacturer Eduard van Puijenbroek. The house has characteristics of the Châlet style. The property is built on the west bank of the meandering Rovertsche Leij, in the middle of the woods and surrounded by hilly terrain in the southern / western part of the Gorp en Rovert estate. Tower and hunting lodge form one unit.
