Parking is possible at the starting point.Today we took a beautiful walk through the De Mortelen nature reserve.
Lovely meadow paths and beautiful views. It is very pleasant to walk.
If you take the 2 paved parts in my walk for granted (or adjust it yourself) this is a beautiful walk!I will definitely go back to this area, very nice quiet area.

Walk through park Sparrenrijk and Eikenhorst, starting point = parking lot Scouting Boxtel.Perhaps it is better to make your own route through the park.
My route goes under barbed wire once, and over a fence 😅
Beautiful park with many avenues, lovely green spot in Boxtel! 🌳

Made a nice tour through Belgium today. Very quiet walking area!
Starting point = De Roovertse chapel with its history of gangs of robbers (see highlight)
Very varied; meadows, forest, heath, wide forest paths and narrow forest paths.
2x you walk a bit paved.
In the 1st part of the walk you will come across many bird hides! If you like peace and quiet, this is an ideal tour, few walkers.

Starting point = St. Stjan's Church.
Via the tram track you walk through the woods of Roovert, past the banks and past meadows you arrive at Gorp aan de Leij.
(break spot: The new Hoof ☕)
On the way back you walk a small part of paved, which incidentally is a quiet road along meadows and forest.

Starting point = a small parking lot.
Immerse yourself in the purple landscape 💜
The Regte Heide is the right place for lots of flowering heather!
You will also pass a number of burial mounds from the Bronze Age.

Starting point of the walk = De Nieuwe Hoeve, plenty of parking.A varied walk along a number of highlights on Gorp and Roovert (see highlights for more info)
Nice narrow paths along the Leij, forest paths, many ferns, birds, butterflies and blueberries.
Landgoed Gorp & Roovert is a vast estate (1200ha) with old deciduous, coniferous and mixed forests, cultivated grounds, heathland, fens and over a length of five kilometers a still meandering Rovertsche Leij with some cut old meanders.
This walk is therefore easy to extend.

This walk starts at the Elsakkerpad (few parking spaces in the street)
And turns into the boots trail of natural monuments.
The Elsakkerpad is an authentic path that used to be used by the farmers outside the village to walk in 1 straight line to the church.
Then you walk a small part of paved, and then go into nature at the Chaamse brook.
You pass vineyard Dassemus and look out over the vineyards. The largest vineyard in Brabant!
The catchment area of the Chaamse beek is a beautiful nature reserve with a panoramic view over meadows (full of flowers in spring)
Wooded banks and pollard willows lie like ribbons in the landscape. Wonderfully quiet environment!
(done this walk on 16-1, now a lot of birds and butterflies! )

I did my walk again from 20-3, starting at nature gate De Roovertse Leij.
Beautiful walk in a quiet area. Opportunity to climb in a forest hut, take a look at a crypt (first through the canal 🏊‍♀️)
Ennuh .. there is power ⚡⚡ on the wire near the horses .. for a close photo put my arm on it, that's why the photo is blurry and I was fully charged again 🤣🤣

This is a fun tour where you combine different nature reserves. The starting point = also parking place along the road.
There I first asked for forgiveness from Maria because I haven't put anything on komoot for so long 😇🙏
5 minutes later I was in a rain shower so don't think it worked out ..🤣
You start at 'Riels Hoefke' and pass through 'De Hoevens' estate, the 'Regte Heide' and 'Het Ooievaarsnest'.
You walk through forests, along heather, and burial mounds from the Bronze Age!
Plenty of options in this area, so you can easily extend the route or take another exit along the way.
