The Henneberger Warte is a 30-meter-high observation tower completed in 1987 and is still open today. In good weather, numerous landmarks in Bavaria and Thuringia can be seen from its viewing platform, including the Thuringian Forest, Coburg Fortress, Banz Monastery, Staffelberg, and Heldburg Fortress.
