On the southern outskirts of Krelingen is one of two heathlands of the city Walsrode.The Krelinger Heide is not a very large, but a particularly beautiful heathland. Light elevations are almost reminiscent of Tuscany. Heather plants, grasses and reeds alternate with dark green junipers and form a diverse landscape.Around the Krelinger Heide leads a hiking trail, which invites to relaxed walks in the idyllic nature. There are also smaller trails that lead directly through the heathland.Further information:
