It's Sunday, we're in Alençon and it's raining...so what do you do? That's right, you get on your bike, always hoping that the weather forecast is right and it will actually stop raining. As is well known, hope dies last. Same with us. At the beginning there was light rain, then a little drier, then…

Short tour from our campsite to Portoncon and back. The way back was along side streets with little traffic and therefore very quiet... and the whole thing in super sunny weather...🌞🌞🌞

After we landed safely at the nearby campsite, we went on a short exploration tour to Le Mont-Saint-Michel by bike. And since my better half didn't feel like it, I went solo...😁👍

First cycle tour through Normandy. Hilly and beautiful. Temperatures of around 20°C were just right for the tour. With climbs of up to 11% in some cases, this tour was topographically much more demanding than in the local northern German regions. The way out took us along the coast

Today we went to Normandy and stopped in Rouen with its impressive old town. Jeanne d'Arc also left her mark here, but we gave up the exhibition on this today.
Beautiful alleys and churches characterize the old town. Cafes and restaurants invite you to take a break everywhere. Anyone who is in the region should not miss Rouen.
