  • Here once stood a Pottasch hut. In addition to the production of resin, pitch and charcoal, potash was also produced in many places in the Palatinate Forest. Potash is a white, granular, salt-like mass that attracts water in the air and is now called potassium carbonate (K2 CO3). Today a knight stone reminds of it.
