    According to legend, Spangenberg Castle was once connected to Erfenstein Castle (on the opposite side of the valley) by a leather bridge. de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sage_von_der_Ledernen_Br%C3%BCckeBurgschänke is currently closed (as of December 2016)
