    Halde Minister Achenbach IV - Tockhausen

    If you promise yourself primarily a good view of the surrounding area, then you are wrong here. You can get them in some places where the vegetation is more open or has been cut free and gives you some great views. If the visibility is good, you can see not only the old minister Achenbach shaft 4 with the Lüntec Tower ("Colani-Ei"), but also the Lünen power plant and the city center, but also as far as Dortmund's city center.

    But if you are looking for a climb that is not only suitable for hiking, but also suitable for bicycles, then the diverse vegetation will delight you. Many animal and insect species have found their home here in the dense forest-like vegetation. The heap is made accessible by a very interesting network of paths, which allows you to choose between a very fast and steep or a flatter and longer ascent. With the bike, the flatter ascent and the steeper descent are ideal as soon as you have the basics of driving and braking techniques halfway out. Of course, it's a lot more fun on the MTB, even for the less experienced ;-)
