The Ringheim Peace Bell with its steel tower was erected in July 2004 as part of the Geopark path. The striking tower is a result of the commitment of the Ringheim parish for peace and reconciliation, to which the origin of the culture trail can be traced back. The fact that the topic of "peace" was picked up in Ringheim is due to the emergence of the Großostheim district. The military airfield built in 1936/37 brought destruction not only in France (in Vraux, north-eastern France, by the attack launched in Ringheim), but also here by the bombing of the air base and the surrounding area by the Allies.
