Tips
A chamber lock was probably not built in Spandau until around 1572. The lock was also known as "Zwiepass". It made it possible to travel from the Berlin waterway network to the Oder. A new building was built around 1723.

While the west side of the lock area is behind the fence, the hustle and bustle can be observed from the east side (from the citadel) while sitting comfortably in the green.
