An interesting little building whose purpose is not immediately clear. It is the former forge of the court locksmith. Old craft items are on display inside the building.
Friedrich Ludwig, the last prince to reside here, expanded the Mariannenvorstadt into an early craftsmen's settlement between 1782 and 1806. This forge was also built during this time. The building was demolished and rebuilt in 1980.
