Live a few miles from this and it's a nice climb. Just put your head down and keep going, I think it rises about 700feet and average 5-7 incline.

Just breaking it up helps psychologically if you're not familiar

Once at the top, there's a great view of the Dale and into Manchester and further.

You have the choice of two main downhills 1. Down Crag Vale (England's longest climb at 5miles) or down into Ripponden and you end up near Sowerby Bridge
