The Bürgermeister-Müller-Museum Solnhofen inspires all prehistoric fans. Solnhofen is known nationwide thanks to the Solnhofen plate, which is used in many stairwells, and the ancient bird Archeopteryx, which was found here. Here the visitor can marvel at fossilized animals and plants from the Jurassic period. In the illuminated showcases, visitors will only find originals from the group of dinosaurs and reptiles (homoesaurus, plesiosaurus and pterosaurs), a variety of crabs and cephalopods (squids, ammonites and belemnites).
