Raise is a mountain in the Lake District and one of Alfred Wainwright's 214 Wainwright fells. Did you know there is also a ski club on Raise? A 1,181-foot (360 m) tow helps skiers to the top of the slopes but there's still quite a big walk required just to get to that point.

A great little Wainwright to do and easily accessible from Sticks Pass. Getting to Sticks Pass is another matter however. A rocky little hill marked by a small cairn.

A great summit to view the northern side of Helvellyn from, especially Swirral Edge and Catstye Cam.
