The Rupelklei Museum was founded in the 70s to tell the story of the many brickworks in the Rupel region and to preserve the memory of the handmade brick. Images and tools show the production process of these bricks and evoke the atmosphere of the hard work at the brickworks. The origin of the clay layers is also explained, and you can see rare fossils found in the clay quarries.
