Mechelen is a small town that can easily be visited on foot or by bike. You will discover magnificent Flemish architecture, the Dyle which crosses it, and above all a belfry and its carillon which rings a melody every quarter of an hour!

A bit smaller, but oh so brave. Mechelen is not the largest of the cities, but that does not make it any less worthwhile. This historic and child-friendly city is almost built on heritage. There is the iconic St. Rumbold's Cathedral, the Burgundian city palace Hof van Busleyden, the cozy streets, churches and beautiful Baroque facades spread on the banks of the Dijle. More recently is the Holocaust memorial Kazerne Dossin. This keeps important, but pitch-black pages in our history alive.Triggered?
