Green Crag is a fell in the Lake District National Park in the Eskdale area. It's often hiked with Harter Fell. It's a fell in the Wainwright classification of hills and has a height of 1,604 feet (489 m). Unless you visit in a heat wave prepare to encounter wet and boggy ground on your visit, but it's worth it for the views!

Boggy surrounding ground up towards green crag. However, from the top there is amazing views as far as Duddon estuary and the West Coast of Cumbria.

I had a nice hike to Green Crag. Instead of doing it with Harter Fell I hiked it as a stand alone Wainwright parking at the Woolpack Inn in the valley. There is a pretty decent path all the way to Green Crag from here, a tad boggy in June but not bad at all. A real rocky little peak with great views.
