Information:
Erected around 1912, it was based on a legend that around 1650 the child of the lady of the castle was kidnapped by a large bird of prey. A falconer employed at the castle used his hunting falcon to harass the eagle so that it was forced to drop the child. The child was then safely returned to its mother.
