The Warrior of Hirschlanden is the oldest large sculpture in Central Europe that depicts a human being. The naked figure was found at the foot of a burial mound. The hat, the collar and the dagger are known from archaeological finds from the late Hallstatt culture and can be interpreted as symbols of power and rank. Only a replica can be seen here; the original is in the Württemberg State Museum.
