Over the years, Volkssterrenwacht Mira has become a real attraction for anyone interested in what is happening in the universe and receives many thousands of visitors every year, both in group visits and during open days or during opening hours for individual visitors. The observatory has an extensive exhibition and experimentation area, several multimedia rooms and perhaps the most extensive astronomical instruments of a Belgian observatory, with two fixed telescopic domes, a fixed solar telescope and a whole collection of large and small movable instruments. A weather station is also available. "
