Interesting bridge history: In 1936 the "Hagenbrücke", a brick bridge, was built for the A9, which is a listed building. When the A9 was expanded at the end of the 1990s, a reinforced concrete bridge was built next to it for the Berlin carriageway.
To the west of the A9 is the FFH area "Flämingbuchen", a forest that is well worth seeing.
