You can only visit them with a guided tour (which can be booked at Piazza Duomo 23 for 7 € / person (as of September 2020). According to the tour, there are about 300 grottos, most of which are privately owned and up to 4 floors The grottoes are very impressive, but I had imagined the tour to be much longer and through many passages.
