The brick mill was built in 1425. After a robbery attack in 1807, the grain mill operation was discontinued and the mill property was sold. Marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher, who set up a camp here in 1813 in the fight against Napoleon, is said to have lived in the brick mill from May 23rd to 26th, 1813.

Lovingly compiled by the owner, it is reminiscent of General Blücher who bivouacked here with his soldiers and opposed Napoleon. The owner usually has a small beer or coffee ready in the guest garden. Just ask !!!
