Tips

  • The brick mill was built in 1425. After a robbery attack in 1807, the grain mill operation was discontinued and the mill property was sold. Marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher, who set up a camp here in 1813 in the fight against Napoleon, is said to have lived in the brick mill from May 23rd to 26th, 1813.

  • Lovingly compiled by the owner, it is reminiscent of General Blücher who bivouacked here with his soldiers and opposed Napoleon. The owner usually has a small beer or coffee ready in the guest garden. Just ask !!!
