The Amberger Hut (2,136 meters) is located at the foot of the Schrankogel (3,499 meters) in the Stubai Alps. Its unique location makes it a perfect destination for your bike tour.

Inside the hut, you'll find the comfort of an Alpine Club hut and a cozy atmosphere. If you like, you can also stay overnight. The bedrooms are constructed entirely of wood, creating a truly cozy hut atmosphere.

Super great hut but not accessible by car or cable car.
Shortly after Gries, the road ends at a large parking lot.
From there it's 6km on foot or by bike. Partly very steep!
You should have a good basic level of fitness to tackle the route to the hut.
After 3.5 km you cross the Sulztal Alm, where you could also take a break.

The Amberger Hut simply offers a fantastic ambience with a great view of the surrounding glaciers and 3000m peaks.

We have been guests here a few times and will come again.

Whether on foot or by bike, a great team provides a friendly welcome, as well as delicious and fresh cuisine in this beautiful place.
Shepherd's macaroni and Kaiserschmarren are particularly worth recommending.
