Overall, this section is easy to drive. Up to Maria's Alm, this section of the red Leiterberg trail is more of an S1 with only a few S2 spots. The wooden bridge over the Haimbach has no railings and can be slippery when wet. This is a shared trail that is used by hikers. From Maria's Alm (stamp point) you can get off and drive down the forest road, as the following sections are definitely S2 and occasionally S3. The entrance is in a hairpin bend to Hochsölden (see picture) and marked with a steele.

On the upper part of the ladder mountain trail you can curl up comfortably, because the flowy singletrack is only moderately steep. Since it is a shared trail, considerate driving is required, so that the hikers have their fun.

Absolutely fantastic trail. As mentioned several times above, it's quite easy. After the alpine pasture, it gets quite challenging. I would definitely avoid it in wet conditions. Not for beginners. For everyone else, let's rock.
