If you step onto the terrace up here at 3,174 meters, you can see from the Zugspitze to the Dolomites. The Hochstubaihütte is the third highest located refuge in Austria.

The third tallest shelter in Austria and one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen in the Alps.
The route is quite difficult and exhausting, but both routes leading to the shelter were easier than I expected. The best way to get to the chalet is from the Fiegls Gasthaus or Kleble Alm, both of which are taken by bus number 8402 from Sölden.
