Fourteen uniform chapels were built in 1815. The largest chapel dates back to the 18th century. In 2004, the Stations of the Cross and the chapels were thoroughly restored. Since then, the site has also been accessible to wheelchair users. The renovated Way of the Cross was solemnly inaugurated with a grand village festival. The site of the 15 Kapellekens is the ideal stop during a cycling tour through the region. The well-known cycling junction network passes there.
