Hiking
The name "Corpus Christi" refers to the great age of the church and to the consecration day of the church, the Feast of Corpus Christi. Corpus Christi means "Body of Christ".
The existing building dates back to the 14th century, with only the tower with its ribbed vaulting and the end stone (decorated with a head of Christ) in the choir room being original.
The associated three-aisled - and originally longer - nave was demolished in 1861 and replaced by the current, smaller building. This was inaugurated in September 1863.
