Ossinger Observation Tower and Ossingerhütte

The Ossinger with its height of 653 meters and the observation tower rises as the second highest mountain in the Upper Palatinate Jura in the area. From the Ossinger tower offers the hiker an unforgettable panoramic view of the Franconian and Upper Palatinate country.

Always a worthwhile excursion destination, the "Ossinger". In addition to the 22m high wooden observation and radio tower on the ⛰ summit of the 651m high mountain, a visit to the ☕️ Waldschänke 🍺 "Ossingerhütte" is particularly worthwhile. The tower, which unfortunately does not have a viewing platform, offers a great all-round view 🌄. The climb is worth it!

On the Ossinger (651 meters high) awaits you a hut with a terrace and a new lookout tower. The hut is open on Sundays and public holidays from 10 clock. On the menu are hearty meals, for sausage friends especially the "Ossinger Hüttenteller" is recommended. Well-fortified you can still climb the tower and enjoy the view.
