The Ogrosener Church is a simple baroque plastered building with arched windows and a three-sided east end, built in 1770. The imposing stone tower with the stepped, pointed-arch west portal dates back to the middle of the 13th century and is reminiscent of a previous building of today's church building. The tower probably received its baroque tower with a slated hood and lantern at the time the nave was rebuilt. The interior is also influenced by the Baroque with the simple plastered ceiling and the surrounding gallery supported by Tuscan columns. A steep, simple pulpit altar is integrated into the east gallery, which is crowned by a radiant sun. But pieces of equipment from the previous building were also retained: A large, eight-sided, Gothic sandstone baptism was buried for many years before it was found again around 1965 and brought to the church. On the south wall, eight gravestones from the 17th and 18th centuries commemorate the von Stutternheim family, who held the patronage of the village until 1924.

Beautiful old church, just like it should be in a village😉
