The Schwedenwacht is an unwooded, 692 m high hill with dry grassland near Langenbach, from which there is a wide view of the Fichtelgebirge
and with a nice view up to the Veste Coburg. It probably offered this view as early as the Thirty Years' War and a watchman was on the lookout for enemies.

The Schwedenwacht is an unforested, 692 m high hill with dry grass near Langenbach, from which there is a wide view of the Fichtel Mountains and, if the view is fine, to the Coburg Fortress. It probably already offered this prospect during the Thirty Years' War and a security guard kept an eye out for the enemy.
