The Bartholomew Viaduct is located on the northern railway line in the district Wichlinghausen. It has a beautiful view of the districts Oberbarmen, Wichlinghausen and Barmen. Above the city you can even see the Toelleturm am Lichtscheid. This can also be seen from the Rott.

In addition to the five tunnels (up to 722 m long) and several viaducts with a view of the city, the lived railway history of the Nordbahntrasse is an attraction. In addition to three old station buildings that are privately owned, there are two stations (Wichlinghausen and Loh) on the Nordbahntrasse that have been restored to their old form. A 1.6 km long stretch of track with switches and signals has also been preserved at Loh station, on which the railway group of the Wuppertalbewegung e.V. offers free handcar rides in summer on Sunday afternoons and by appointment.[21] There are also reminders of earlier uses, such as old kilometer markers and bus stop signs.
