Issigau Castle - was first mentioned as a former castle in 1398, and belonged to the Lords of Reizenstein zu Reizenstein. The castle was attacked several times, besieged and conquered and destroyed in the Thirty Years War. In 1750 the castle was rebuilt as a pleasure palace and as a palace changed hands frequently. In 1976 the Wolfgang Braitmaier family converted and renovated the facility into a catering business with a campsite.
