The Evangelical Lutheran parish church of St. George is surrounded by a wide defensive wall made of sandstone blocks with a gate tower from the 15th century. The sacred two-storey hipped roof building with a dormer house consists of plastered sandstone blocks and dates from 1737. The choir tower is older in time, dating to 1295. The nave from the 15th century was re-vaulted in the 18th century and provided with rococo stucco in 1757. The altar by the Nuremberg carpenter Tobias Stengel and the pulpit were made in 1708.
