Tips
The Schwarzenbachtalsperre is around two kilometers in length and is the largest reservoir in the northern and central Black Forest. It is located at an altitude of 668 meters. Bathing in the dam is at your own risk! There is a small kiosk on the lakeshore, ideal for filling drinking bottles.

Very nice in the sunset as it opens up to the (north) west. There are several kiosks and one can rent pedal boats.

Coming from Raumünzach, the ascent to the dam is quite steep, but it becomes very pleasant from then on.
