The sixth-year print media of the VISO from Mariakerke has already started to creatively paint a number of trees at three locations near the Grand Noble castle. Teacher Bernard Billiet: "we got our inspiration from the bosque de grandma in the Spanish Basque Country". The sixth-year students made the designs in groups and then worked them out life-size in the Parkbos. "This is how nature, music and art meet on the outskirts of the city" adds Patricia Hamerlynck. Nature lovers can rest assured that the natural paint is harmless to the trees. (The newspapaer)
