Mr. Schiebel has opened up the gorge. The young pastor from Tiefenbach, Johannes Schiebel, finally took the development of the gorge into his hands, looked for donors and founded the Breitachklammverein eG. He did this to provide his poor community with a source of income and to stimulate the incipient alpine tourism.
