The exotic forest in Weinheim is a unique arboretum. The exotic forest was founded in 1872 and is home to around 170 types of shrubs and trees from all over the world. The peculiarity, however, lies in the planting: while foreign trees in Germany are often only planted as individual specimens in botanical gardens, here you can actually see them as forests. For example, you'll find a whole group of sequoia trees.
