    Only in 2007 was the historic water supply revived. From 1877 to 1927 the village of Burggaillenreuth was supplied with drinking water by a hydraulic ram plant. Benches invite you to linger, the water is of the best drinking water quality. On the information boards, you can find out about the historical and local significance of this source before it refreshes and continues cheerfully.

    Interesting old technique. One finds an old restored ram also in the Leidingshof valley near Veilbronn. The ram can be watched through a grid at work, it splashes and suggests that it is a pleasure.
