Since the new traffic regulation, the Germans keep more distance here. The locals tend to be the ones who drive past you very closely. That's how I felt.
I always drive about 1m from the edge of the lane and when a car approaches in the rearview mirror (yes, that also makes sense with the RR :-), I drive completely on the edge, so the distance is more than sufficient.

Road cycling

There are times when this road is relatively busy. Because the road is narrow, winding and very confusing, I have had several tricky situations here due to impatient (German) drivers. As an alternative, the road via Karlin between the Sebnitz border crossing and Vilemov can be used (north of this tip). Almost no traffic, beautiful scenery and only slightly longer.
