The dune area 'Ter Yde' in Koksijde represents 260 hectares of forest and different types of dune vegetation. Ter Yde is therefore of great ecological value. Hiking

The entire area is freely accessible on the various hiking trails. This way, hikers can become acquainted with all the natural values. The red walking path is only accessible from July 15 to March 15, and therefore not during the breeding season. Dogs must be on a leash. You can also explore the closed parts of the reserve on guided walks.
Cyclists can use the cycle path that connects the Loze Vissertjespad with the Noordzeedreef through the Hannecartbos.
