The origins of the pilgrimages go back to plague epidemics in the Thirty Years' War. The present church has been gradually built since the end of the 17th century.
The steep road driveway is also worth the view. The mountain itself should not be cycled on the forest trails. Had to push myself downhill, otherwise I would have overturned.
