The rose bushes in the courtyard of the former armory (part of the district office AS) were planted in 1993 by the district's 64 gardening associations. The splendor of flowers also commemorates the Amberg wedding of 1474. Hundreds of guests and thousands of Ambergers had 1045 calves, 11000 chickens and five quintals of almonds, among other delicacies. Margret gave birth to 14 children to her husband.
