At 330 m above sea level, Lennep station is the highest in the area of the Rhein-Ruhr transport association (VRR). The S7 with a spacious multi-purpose compartment for taking bicycles can be used as a climbing aid at no additional cost either from Solingen Hbf (at 90 m) or from Wuppertal (at 160 m). Great launch pad for i.a. following tours
Balkantrasse West to Opladen
Balkan route east to Marienheide
Wupper down via Radevormwald to Wuppertal
via Eschbach or Morsbach to Wupper and down to Leverkusen
