The stone bridge over the Nagold is a listed building. It has withstood all floods since living memory, including that of December 1947, when the Nagold was so swollen that the water sloshed over the parapet. Then the Nagold was dredged and straightened. Stone benches still run along the parapet on both sides of the bridge, also in the bulges above the central pillar. In the Middle Ages this was the meeting place; court hearings were also held here until around 1500 the court was moved to the town hall.

Hiking

The beautiful segmented arch bridge made of sandstone dates from 1594 and has two pulpits on the central pillar. Great photo opportunity.

Hiking

The Hirschbrücke, which was built in 1594, spans the Nagold River. The stone arched bridge is almost 32 metres long and vehicle traffic still rolls over the historic structure today.
