Wildberg is always worth a visit: The old town of Wildberg stands on a sandstone ridge, which is surrounded by the Nagold; It sits promisingly on a spur on a loop in the middle Nagoldtal. The ancient town of Wildberg on the eastern edge of the northern Black Forest has been a climatic health resort for several years. You are here: Home | City of Wildberg | history
In detailOn January 1, 1975, the old town of Wildberg was merged with the three surrounding villages of Effringen, Validlingen and Sulz am Eck to form the new town of Wildberg, after Schönbronn was incorporated into the former Wildberg on April 1, 1971. The new unitary community, which also forms an independent administrative area, corresponds to part of the old Wildberger office, which will be discussed below. Wildberg is a climatic health resort on the eastern edge of the northern Black Forest. The core city stands on a back of colored sandstone, which is surrounded by the Nagold. The districts of Effringen and Schönbronn lie west of it on the plateau of the upper Buntsandstein, the districts of Validlingen and Sulz on the corner eastward in two side valleys of the Nagold cut into the limestone limestone.
